THE CITY OF WATERVLIET BERRIEN COUNTY, MICHIGAN HEREBY POSTS PUBLICLY A NOTICE OF AMENDMENT TO THE CITY ANIMAL ORDINANCE - An ordinance to protect and secure the public health, safety and general welfare by regulating and controlling the ownership of animals within the City of Watervliet; to establish regulations and standards for the presence of animals in public areas; and to prohibit animals dangerous to life and limb.
A complete copy of the draft Animal Ordinance to be considered for adoption 30 days from the date of this posting is located at the Watervliet City Hall.

30 DAY PUBLIC NOTICE AND INPUT

THE CITY OF WATERVLIET BERRIEN COUNTY, MICHIGAN HEREBY POSTS PUBLICLY A NOTICE OF REPEAL AND REPLACEMENT OF THE CITY RENTAL ORDINANCE - An ordinance to protect and secure the public health, safety and general welfare by regulating and controlling the condition of rental units within the City of Watervliet; to establish regulations, inspections, and standards for rental property maintenance; and to provide sanctions for violation of the provisions of this ordinance.

Financial Audit Request for Proposals

The City of Watervliet invites qualified independent auditors with sufficient governmental accounting and auditing experience to submit bid proposals to perform the financial audit for the fiscal year ending 6/30/10. Bid proposals will be rated based on qualifications and price factors.
Interested auditors shall submit the original and 4 copies of their proposals to:
